Funnybone, Virginia Beach, VA
Last night I was invited to go to the Funnybone in Virginia Beach. I hadn’t planned on going but was glad that I did. The Funnybone was a surprise treat to visit
Parking at the Funnybone was ample and close by, we had our choice of spots at in the parking garage for free. The garage was well lit and monitored so it struck me as safe. In contrast to the beach front parking this was refreshing.
We entered the establishment and were promptly show to our seats. We requested better seats and the staff responded as it it was no bother. The furniture was comfortable and there was plenty of leg room. One problem that I did have with the layout of the club was that there wasn’t enough stepping in the seating. This caused me problems when a particularly tall man sitting in front of me would block my view.
After we were seated we ordered food and drinks. The drinks were a reasonably priced, 3 something for domestic beer and 4 something for import. My friend ordered the hot pretzels and it was delivered promptly and hot. I tasted them and they tasted great. The menu offering wasn’t anything exciting but adequate.
Overall I would say that my experience at the Funnybone was positive and I would definitely go back.
